My first little tootsie...

Here it is...my January "foot"...

as a licensed massage therapist I decided to do feet...I started some hands and decided that they needed feet to match...so here is the first foot to match the hand I'd already done...

My favorite word as I view some completed projects comes to mind once again -- this is so 'whimsical'. I love the cheerful colors and what appears to be flow and movement reminding me of the muscles themselves. Wonderful!

I've seen many beaded hands, but I think this is the first foot. They are at the same time both playful and respectful!

Just a note for the future and for others reading this, we're not actually supposed to post pictures of our BJP pieces on the BJP blogs until after April 1st. Do you have your own personal blog? If so, you're welcome to post there and then put a link here. Thanks..

Our hands say so much about us; you can almost read a person's life by looking at their hands. And our feet take us through life, reflect our bodies aches and pains and have various other meanings. But I like how you placed your first foot on the squares which symbolize a paved path to me. Your bead embroidery is beautiful. - Marlene
