I'm new to the BJP; I kept an eye on things last year, and this year I'm signed up and mostly ready . . . I'm a dollmaker, not a beader per se (I've never made any strung or woven jewelry). I just sew beads onto dolls and pins. I've decided on a size—2 1/2 x 3 1/2, ATC size—that should give me enough room to do something, but not so much as to be overwhelming. I haven't chosen a subject yet; I'll be considering that in the next few days.
I'm very glad to be here, and looking forward to seeing what everyone does!

Do you have a blog or site where we could see your dolls? I have wanted to do a doll for a long time but other projects have cut in line ahead of her so far. I think your size choice sounds perfect.
