I'm new to beading and to the Bead Journal Project. I am totally entranced by seed beads and am really looking forward to participating in the project. I love the style of encrusting a whole piece, so I may try a very small format this year to see how it goes. I'm already inspired by what I saw from previous Bead Journal Projects and look forward to seeing how everyone else approaches it as the year goes by!

Hi Carol and welcome!!! Totally encrusted bead embroidery has always been my favorite style. So for the first two years, I set one of my goals to let some of the fabric show. It's been fun and challenging. For this year, I'm thinking about a return to the encrusted look.... maybe... Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do! Robin A.

Welcome to the group. I end up using lots of beads. This year I am going to try to use less. There are so many ways to do this work. Can't wait to see what you do.
